Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Britannia Journeys website or booking any of our tour services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Britannia Journeys governing your use of our website and services.
Britannia Journeys is a tour operator specialising in UK tourism experiences. Our registered address is 25 Royal Parade, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG1 2SZ, United Kingdom. Throughout these Terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Britannia Journeys, and "you" and "your" refer to you, the user of our website and/or customer of our services.
By accessing our website at kislaya-yagodka.com, booking our services, or engaging with us in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the Terms, please do not use our website or services.
In these Terms, the following terms shall have the following meanings:
By using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our website or services after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to check these Terms periodically for changes.
To use our services, you must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you are booking on behalf of other travellers, you confirm that you have the authority to make bookings on their behalf and to bind them to these Terms.
Some of our tours may have specific age, health, or fitness requirements due to the nature of the activities involved. These requirements will be clearly stated in the tour descriptions. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party meet these requirements before making a booking.
You can make a booking through our website, by phone, or by email. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is not confirmed until you receive a Booking Confirmation from us.
You must provide accurate and complete information when making a booking, including the full names (as they appear on passports for international visitors), contact details, and any special requirements of all travellers. You are responsible for any errors or omissions in the information provided.
For most tours, we require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total tour price at the time of booking, with the balance due 60 days before the tour start date. For bookings made less than 60 days before the tour start date, the full payment is required at the time of booking.
Custom itineraries and premium tours may have different payment terms, which will be specified at the time of booking.
We accept payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), debit card, bank transfer, and PayPal. All payments are processed securely. For bank transfers, you are responsible for any transaction fees.
We make every effort to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate. However, if a pricing error is discovered, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and offer you the option to rebook at the correct price or receive a full refund.
Once your booking is confirmed with a deposit or full payment, the price of your tour will not change except in cases of government action, currency fluctuations, or increases in transportation costs, in which case we reserve the right to increase the price. If the price increase exceeds 10% of the total tour price, you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund.
If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:
Custom itineraries and certain special tours may have different cancellation policies, which will be specified at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to cancel a tour at any time due to insufficient bookings, Force Majeure Events, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, you will be offered the choice of:
We will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by you as a result of our cancellation, such as flights, accommodation, or other services booked independently.
Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation being confirmed. Refunds will be made to the original payment method used for the booking.
If you wish to make changes to your booking after confirmation, such as changing the tour date or adding/removing participants, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. A fee of £50 per booking may apply, plus any additional costs resulting from the change. Changes requested less than 30 days before the tour start date may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, subject to our cancellation policy.
We reserve the right to make minor changes to tour itineraries when necessary. Minor changes include alterations to the order of activities, accommodation of similar standard, or transportation methods, which do not significantly affect the nature or quality of the tour.
In the event of significant changes (such as changing the destination or removing a major feature of the tour), we will notify you as soon as possible. You will have the option to accept the changes, transfer to an alternative tour of similar value, or cancel and receive a full refund.
We cannot accept liability or pay compensation where the performance of our obligations is prevented or affected by a Force Majeure Event. In such circumstances, we reserve the right to alter or cancel tours. Where possible, we will offer alternative arrangements or reschedule the tour for a later date.
You are responsible for ensuring that all travellers in your party have valid identification and, for international visitors, any necessary visas or travel documents required to enter the UK. Failure to have proper documentation may result in denied entry and no refund will be provided.
You agree to behave in a respectful and appropriate manner during your tour. We reserve the right to remove any traveller from a tour whose behavior is disruptive, offensive, or poses a risk to the safety or enjoyment of others. In such cases, no refund will be provided, and the traveller will be responsible for any additional costs incurred.
If you or any member of your party has special requirements, such as dietary restrictions, mobility limitations, or medical conditions, you must inform us at the time of booking. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements, we cannot guarantee that all requests can be met.
You are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting points on time. Tours will not be delayed for late arrivals, and no refunds will be provided for missed activities due to lateness.
Our tours may involve walking, climbing stairs, and various levels of physical activity. You must ensure that you and all members of your party are physically capable of participating in the activities included in your chosen tour. Specific physical requirements will be outlined in the tour description.
You must follow all safety instructions provided by our guides or representatives during the tour. Failure to do so may result in removal from the tour without refund.
In the event of a health emergency during a tour, we will assist in obtaining medical help, but any medical expenses incurred are your responsibility. This underscores the importance of having adequate travel insurance.
We accept responsibility for ensuring that the services we provide are delivered with reasonable skill and care. If any part of your tour is not provided as described and this affects the enjoyment of your tour, we will pay appropriate compensation, except where the failure is:
Our liability to you will not exceed the total cost of your tour, except in cases of death, personal injury, or loss/damage to luggage (where different statutory limits may apply).
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profit, loss of enjoyment, or loss of business opportunity.
Some services included in your tour may be provided by third parties, such as accommodation providers, transport operators, or attraction management. While we select these providers carefully, we are not liable for their actions or omissions.
We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that provides coverage for medical expenses, personal injury, trip cancellation, curtailment, and loss or damage to personal belongings. This is particularly important for international visitors to the UK.
Proof of travel insurance may be required before the start of certain tours, especially those involving higher-risk activities.
